StarTrails 1by ~MrParts

My first attempt at using the program StarTrails for what it was intended.

This is 200 shots taken at 30 second intervals. Doing the math ... it's only one hour and 40 minutes, I think. I'm facing South in this photo, the big dipper was just about to show up in this photo.

That large "star" on the right of this photo is actually the planet Jupiter.

It's really not a printable size just an example for now. I'm working on another one right now as I'm typing this.

The next one will be the same amount of time but facing the North Star as best I can find it with a compass.

I like how you actually take the time and explain how you do your photos. Most people I find seem to want to keep it a secret. I know I learning quite a bit from you thanks. Nice shot
