Just another of natures light shows I managed to catch with a camera.

Taken in June of 2011 through a window of my house, that's why you can see the drops.

Wow, we've never gotten lightning like that here where I am and honestly I hope we never do. Storms are scary enough for me, this would terrify me to death. But the picture is awesome, and i think the droplets of water on the window add to it, but thats just me :)

I put multiple strikes into one photograph, hence "Montage". I didn't move the camera for several hours during these lightning storms as they rolled over. Once I had all the lightning shots ready (post-processing) I compiled them all with the "Start Trails" program. This was the result!

It took me quite awhile to figure out lightning and a lot of years not having a clue what I was doing. Practice, practice, practice!

Practice and a good camera hehee
I know my little Kodak EasyShare sure isn't good enough to catch lightning, I have tried every setting it has. But I'm not giving up hope for the kind of camera I want one day so I can get much better pictures.
